Canadian rapper and actor Drake was seen streaming on Twitch last night in another collaboration with crypto betting platform Stake. The celebrity gambled, slammed shots, and gave away over $1 million to Stake users. The Stake Drake Twitch stream peaked at 112,000 users and averaged 86,000 over the course of an hour and a half.

Drake played roulette, some blackjack, and even a little bit of slots as he showed off his favorite games on Stake. Roulette dominated the stream with Drake betting max $1 million per spin and winning big several times. Drake’s favorite roulette number is 11 and tends to bet numbers all around that one. He said he planned this event on July 11th specifically because of this number. Drake had some big wins, including a $13m score when his lucky number 11 hit.

It was a brief stint of Stake slots for the rapper as he had a couple of bonuses to open. The slot games Drake opened bonuses on were Wanted and Fruit Party. Other than those brief bonus openings, he went right back to the table games with Blackjack and Slots.

One of the best parts of the collaboration was Drake giving away tens of thousands of dollars to Stake users. The winners also got to talk to Drake directly through video chat, say hi, and even shout out to their loved ones. All in all, over $1 million was given away, changing quite a few lives (assuming they don’t just gamble it all on Stake).

Overall the event felt pretty natural and authentic. It was Drake being himself, having fun, and just hanging out with chat. There wasn’t a “sell out” or overly business-like feeling about the event and with streaming on Twitch, it allowed viewers to send chat messages to a massive celebrity with a chance of getting a response back.
